Supported Independent Living
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is a service and funding solution by the NDIS. It provides, in many cases 24/7 support and care, to those who are eligible. Living in a SIL home allows you to live in a home you love, while getting all the support you need. The set can be in your current place of residence, in a shared living home or group owned, managed by the SIL provider.
We understand that moving out of your family or current home is a massive decision and can be quite challenging for you and your loved ones. Not to worry, with ELITE IN CARE, you’ll enjoy the same comfortable living environment you’re used to at home, in a shared space with your housemates.

How will I be supported in a Supported Independent Living home?
The SIL services we provide to you are based on your NDIS plan or alternate funding, but we can adjust these to ensure your needs are met.
Community access and participation
Friendships, family, and relationships
Health and medication support
Household tasks – such as meal preparation and cleaning
Independent living skills – such as laundry
Personal hygiene support
Short Term Accommodation (STA)
We provide the opportunity for a weekend away from home in one of our fully equipped, safe, comfortable, and accessible respite homes, with experienced and qualified staff to support you. Stay for one night or multiple nights. Join in fun activities supported by our staff or in the community with adults with similar interests.
Short term accessible accommodation for adults
We can provide short term accommodation so you can take a break from your normal routine or give a carer some time to rest and recharge. Our experienced and qualified staff will support you with doing the things you want during your stay. ELITE IN CARE staff develops and run great programs either on-site or in the community.
Our short-term accessible accommodation is also available to those who need to rehabilitate after major surgery or injury before returning home (Hospital in home service). Elite in Care staff has the skills and qualifications to support you to recover.
Medium term accessible accommodation for adults
Medium term accessible accommodation for adults. If you are waiting for long term accessible accommodation, we can provide a medium-term solution that meets your support needs for a short-defined period.
